The Olivia Jade Help a Homie Scholarship & The Zechariah Julius Help a Homie Scholarship

Jacob and Nechelle started the Olivia Jade Help a Homie Scholarship back in 2019 rewarding a graduating senior in high school. The scholarship was created based on a personal experience from when Nechelle was a graduating senior in high school. Coming from a low-income home Nechelle could not afford to pay the $200 housing deposit to hold her dorm. By the grace of God a family friend was kind enough to loan her the money. This memory stuck with her and she vowed with her husband that they would try to help other young people with similar situations.

They now are offering two scholarships in their children’s name. This is to impart in their children that education is important and so giving back.
